There are a few different ways to find a kitten. I hope at least one of these works for you!
- Look in the back of Cat Fancy Magazine. This can be purchased at many of the larger pet stores. Many breeders have chosen to advertise in the Breeder Directory of this magazine. You may be able to find someone in your region simply by looking there.
- E-mail me. If I cannot help you, I can forward your request to an e-mail list of other Burmese breeders.
- Check out the NABB website. www.burmesecat.org They have a breeder directory. there is also a worldwide directory at Gitlaya cattery, See my links page.
- Keep checking your local paper in the classifieds. You might just get lucky!
- Search the web. There are lots of people out there!
Be prepared to wait for a kitten. There are often waiting lists and kittens are sold before they are even born sometimes. These babies are worth waiting for. They are not cheap. You can expect to pay between $500 - $700 for a pet kitten, depending on the region and the breeders' costs. Once again, they are worth every penny. (But I suppose I'm a little biased <ggg>)
